The power light illuminates Green in the center of the power supply when powered on. There are two separate pieces the Cord and the Power Supply. You plug the cord into the electrical outlet. Our cable that comes into the house from the antenna on the roof needs to be plugged into the 15W 30V 1GbE PoE side and the ethernet cord coming from your wireless router needs to be plugged into the 1 Gbe LAN side.
